Automated message: "We've been trying to reach you..." Saying IRS is filing a lawsuit against us. Of course, the IRS doesn't have to file lawsuits...they can audit you, put a lien on your house, and a lot of other things, but if they have a serious issue with you, they'll contact you by registered mail. This call was a bit more sophisticated than some, as they had an unaccented, official-sounding woman's voice doing the recording.

REceived an automated message telling me final notice, the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. Recording gave number 210-807-4287 and asked me to call. When I called - they asked my name, I said DB, they said WHO? I asked "who is this" He said - you called me ... So I cononected him to my dial tone.

PHone number 1-728-594-6504 called me and said that I was being sued by the IRS and told me to call this number 1-210-807-4287
He answered the phone and asked for my phone number and then asked for my name and I told him that if they were the IRS wouldn't they know my name, I said is this some type of scam and he said yes it is and I said I was calling the police.
