These people have called my cell phone more than 22 times in the past 24 hours. They call after 10 PM at night and very early in the AM. I don't answer and they don't leave a message. How can I put a stop to this???

212-777-3456 this is absolutely unacceptable that this rude, horrid person (company?) can call me even though I am on the national do not call list, then start cussing at my husband. NOT OK. I want this to stop. Whatever control is handled by the phone companies needs to be beefed up and given to the consumer, not these awful companies that are not operating properly.
I am contacting the National Do not call registry 888-382-1222 cell phones & 888-225-5322 home numbers, and the FTC 877-382-4357. I sure you all do the same.

They call my home. Parents answer the phone. The scammer try to trick my parents in their scam. My parent told them to hold, wife got on phone. They started cussing my wife out after wife called them a scammer.
Now, they are taking advantage of seniors.

Heavily accented man called, never stated the company, used my brand-new married name that hasn't been updated yet anywhere--and insisted I turn on my computer so he can have access to fix it. I told him I have nothing wrong with my computer, nor will I turn it on for him. He then insisted I have uploaded viruses and need them removed and that he will call back tomorrow-and hung up. I am on the do not call list too.

I forgot to mention that I am from the Good ole CANADA! We are currently in the process of doing income tax which is due by April 30th. Seems the timing may be right for them to try and scam us out of something during this time. Dirtbag-hairballs they are.

I was on the phone when they called. When I listened to the message it was some accented fellow who sat on the phone waiting for me to answer or something. He must have missed my leave a message message, so he sat there going Hello? for about the maximum allowable time. I bought a whistle a long time ago. Sits right by the phone where it will be put to use should they call back again. Hopefully at the same time rather than always during the day when I am at work. I will bait him right back when I say Are you ready for my whatever number? SQUEEEEEAAAAAALLLL! It is such a pleasure to hear them throw their headset to the ground!!

Indian guy trying to get my account info.. Knew my name and old address. Said he was giving me a 1500 cash advance on my taxes. This terrorist had my Tax information! When I told him he was a scam and I didn't need his money he started cussing me out in his language.. I hung up and called back.. Apparently these terrorists have hacked into movie phone cuz that's what I got when I called back. I could hear a whole office of terrorists in the backround scamming others. This office and these terrorists need to be blown up.

was an indian accent guy, scammer call. I am Indian myself so they probably think they can trick me or somrthing. these are scam calls. i'm tired of this stuff, im gonna yell at them!

Some East Indian guy called me from this number and tried to get me to give him my bank account info. He said I'd won a $5K gift card, and that he needed to verify my bank account in order to give it to me. He also already had my name, address and phone number.

I agree that this is annoying but let's just conclude on the fact that these calls are coming from India just based on accent. There are many countries in Asia who has almost the same accent. This is a sensitive matter and hence I as an Indian feel bad about these kinds of things happening to people like us here in US. Please don't get me wrong here at all, and my apologies if i hurt your feelings here.

Trouble with these calls is, since they seem to originate in India (judging on the accent all of the callers have), our Attorney General (or whoever maintains the "do not call" list) doesn't seem to have control over them. I have reported them time and time again and there is no response. These people, calling from various numbers, have been calling me for four years now. I have asked to be placed on their do not call list, I have told them I am not interested, I have even told them I am dead. Nothing makes a difference. I think I'm going to start blowing a whistle into the phone, maybe hearing loss will stop them! Maybe that will finally get me on a do not call list. I hate to do it but these people are costing me money every time they call. Not everyone has unlimited call plans!

Indian woman said she was from the IRS calling about a tax credit for my husband. I indicated he wasn't home. She asked if I was a close friend or family member and proceeded with wanting bank information for the credit to be processed.

Calling all the time, when my fiancee called them back told them he already googled their number & know's they are NO GOOD and to take him off their call list, caller kept telling my fiancee you have your info wrong & kept on trying to sell this "grant" finally when my fiancee asked to speak w/ a supervisor the man hung up...now 2 days later calling again, I answered his phone this time & they wouldn't say anything so I hung up.
