Caller calledat 1314 CST, 1 ring and then hang up. Anon call back indicated the number was not in service. No further information avail. at this time.

I didn't answer the call when I saw the number. I did a little research to figure out who number belonged to. I couldn't find any info. So I called back. I was greeted by a voice recording, that asked about a security system. I pressed 8 to be placed on do not call list.

Received a phone call from this number early in the morning (7:14 AM PST) and hung up as soon as I answered the phone.
Didn't hear anything on the other end and when I called it back discovered it was a Sales Call for a Free Home Security System.

This is a scam, using a recorded message that is meant to mimic a live caller to deceive the recipient.
I attempted to call them back, and was told that the number is not in service! In other words, the scammers have falsified their Caller ID signature to avoid being traced.
