Attempted to persuade us to provide paypal address for a Craigslist sale transaction of a USA fireplace. We immediately knew this is scammed action and told them that we ONLY prefer cash and face-to-face transaction for our sale.

received text from this number. Text offered to buy my craigslist item (item is in Seattle; text came from Texas; asked for my PayPal email so they could send payment, and "shipping agent" would arrange pickup. I called back number, but number is for texts only (even though number is listed as land-line in reverse directory) Too suspicious for me. Why would someone from Texas buy a rug sight unseen from Seattle?
