Phishing Fraud group that claims they are "Microsoft Support"
This is an active phishing, financial fraud scam originating from India. The fake story these call center men give is that they are from a "Microsoft Support center". They say they are receiving virus alerts from "your computer", and that they got the person's name from a database registry of warranty information from when "you bought your computer." When I asked them from which operating system they were receiving the supposed error, they said “yours”, “the computer you are currently sitting at (I was driving at the time with my laptop in the trunk)” and “Microsoft”. When I asked them, “You mean Microsoft ME?”, they each said “yes, that one” (Absolute bogus). When I asked them to whom they thought they were speaking, which account they thought they were calling, they gave a lot of wrong information, (wrong name and address). When I asked them the name on the account they thought they were calling, one said “Baby. I’m calling you Baby.” (Obscene.)
When I asked where they are currently located, they have given locations such as "Texas, Austin", “Washington DC” and “Columbia Washington”. They offer to scan your computer, and walk their victims through a process of downloading Remote Access software. Ultimately they ask for credit card information, so they can sell the “software fix for the virus”. (Fraud.)
AT&T tech support confirmed that this group is calling from India. They also told me that they are receiving many complaints about this phishing scam from customers. So far, I have received 9 calls from this number (163-228-1497), and 1 call from their newest spoofed number of 256-896-3255.

Claimed that my computer had viruses and was sending virus information to Microsoft. Supposedly were calling to help me remove the viruses. Ultimaly he wanted control of my computer.
He was very convincing but something smelled fishy so I hung up.
