This pakistani or whatever lady called my home and told my gf the irs was filing a lawsuit against me. So she immediately calls me and is all worried. Ahem.
The IRS will send u a letter in the mail as their initial contact regarding a problem. Well, if u owe THEM money thats what they do. If they owe u or havent processed a refund yet u have to call them.
They in fact owe me money and I used an advocate to be a gobetween to get it settled. Refund check should be direcly deposited in next few days.
This morning I called my advocate and gave her this story. Yeah, its a scam, she said exact same stuff I did earlier.
Called the number, some indian or whatever chick asked for my name and info. Told her she should be able to tell me that stuff based on a search for my phone number. She saud it doesnt search that way. Bs. I know the irs can do it if asked ob the toll free line. The one u have five prompt menus and sit on hold for an hour.
Report these people. I want to add my name to any classaction suit brought against them. Ill be happy to go to court and testify.
