Got a text about my car at 11:50PM. "Hi. Is your vehicle still available for sale?" I looked up the number 314-763-8921 and found this post. Replied "The answer is yes, Steve. The car is still available for sale." nothing back. strange. Sitting here writing a thesis and looking for any excuse to procrastinate because it is late and my brain is mush, like overcooked goulash (as evidenced by the length of this post and the fact that all my laundry is done and my kitchen is spotless and, and...) so I call the number and to my astonishment, "you have reached a text only number". Then I get a text back: "Thanks for your response, Are you the first owner of the vehicle? Do you have a clean title? Where do you located? (that was not a typo) How much is your last asking price?" and to this I have to say - and thank all of you that have come before me - "No, yes, I 'do located' on Mars, elevendy million. I have a feeling you would prefer using Paypal for this transaction, a shipper will pick up the car but I have to pay him like $750 to haul the car but you'll pay me back? Because if that's the case, heck yeah!!! Where do I send the money gram?! If its easier, I can just mail an envelope of cash wherever you want?". and this is where this ends for me tonight. Back to theoretical revamping of entrenched management paradigms and a nice glass of scotch. In conclusion, if you send money to this guy, you should also know that you get tax write-offs when you give cash to homeless people so if your right on the edge of that bracket....
