This is a revival of the scamming call-center operation based in India that was just recently raided with the help of the Indian police authorities in the end of October 2016. Apparently, in early November 2016, the scammers are back in operation.
Scammer's message, using synthesized voice, is as follows:
"This is officer [unintelligible name... sounds like, "Flor evers"] calling you from legal investigation department of the internal revenue service. The nature behind my voice mail is to inform you that we have received a legal petition notice regarding a tax evasion. A tax fraud case against you name. so before your case is registered into the federal claim court house and before we issue the arrest warrant under you name. please call us back at 319-333-7961. I repeat 319-333-7961. thank you and good bye."
