He says, he's a student photographer/videographer/DJ at a Cal State University, I found his ad in Craigslist. When we hired him to do an event, he ask me for a deposit, half of the payment agreement because he wants a deposit to know we are serious about hiring him and to confirm and save the date. I had no issue with that. He never showed up to the event, never informed us. I called and texted him, wanting my deposit back, never replied back, I lost $450. It was my fault for not signing a contract, if I signed a contract, I will be taking him to court!
