Scam call from man with accent claiming my Windows OS is infected. Told him we were having storms and asked for a call bald number in case we got disconnected. After I got the number I played along. Finally, after faking a bunch of mouse clicks, the tech, named Leon Hall, asked me what I saw… In my most slacked-jawed tone of voice I told him I saw a shiny apple at the bottom of my monitor… he yell, "what?" then yelled, "You sir are a f@@@ing idiot, and hung up."

Mark Broad called and said it was urgent that we look at my computer. He said it was sending out tons of signals of it being terribly infected based on reports Microsoft receives on updates as I install them. Strange thing is I was calling from my laptop which hasn't been on >2 mos. he aside my PC was infected too. Tried go to non-Microsoft sites to give him control of my PC. Didn't do it. Scam if I ever heard of one! He called me back on my home & cell phones like 11 times.

347-227-6900. This woman, Monica, with an Indian accent called to tell me my new computer was sending her company alerts that it was infected with a virus. I told her I didn't believe her. She put a man on the line. He eventually asked my age. I understated by 50+ years, telling him I was 17. He wanted to talk to my mother! I said he was a scammer and not to call again. I should have told him I was a cop.

He said that my windows computer has been sending them notices & he believes that it could be infected with malware & viruses. He wanted me to go to my computer & do exactly what he tells me. Told him I was unable to do that & could I call him back. He gave me 347-227-6900 to call him. Googled it & found their fake little website & other blogs, etc about their pushy scam. They won't get me to bite but what about people like seniors who can fall victim to these jerks. Can they be stopped?

Female said she was from Microsoft cares. Supposedly my computer was infected and was causing problems on the internet. They could fix it but I would have to turn it on. Told her I was a Federal Police Officer and that she was commiting a Federal crime. She hung up shortly after I told her federal officers would be knocking on the door soon to arrest her.

Heavy East Indian accent said he was from Windows and that I had to change the settings on my Windows computer. I knew it was trouble but played along. He walked me down to the system settings. I have read that they get their jollies by having people delete an important file that will disable their entire operating system. So be aware. God will get them for the evil they do on the innocent.
