I received several calls (from phone numbers 612-354-4016 and 612-354-4013) stating the following:
This message is intended for ____________.
My name is Amanda Cross (Croft?). I received a fax order regarding a civil complaint that was filed against you. I've been retained to serve you with documents to appear in court either at your residence or place of employment. If you have any questions or concerns about the complaint, or wish to rectify the matter outside of court before you are served, press 1 to be connected or call 347-426-1953. When calling, please reference your case# 2015-2343. You have officially been notified.
My daughter received a call the next day stating she could settle the civil complaint on my behalf by providing her credit card number. When I called the number, the phone was answered by Nicole Adams, who hing up on me when I asked questions about the Company's name, t of business, and address. I immediately reported this to the FCC, FTC, Ic3 and FBI.
