I received several robo-calls from this number saying "The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 347-854-0427. I repeat 347-854-0427. Thank you." There were several things that made me suspicious of this call because the grammar was poor, there was no actual case file number given for reference, and the robo-message never actually said that they were with the IRS (just that the IRS was filing suit). That coupled with the fact that not only did I not owe the IRS any money but I was awaiting a large refund. I knew better than to call the number that they provided, so instead I called the IRS phone number listed on the IRS website and spoke with an actual IRS agent who verified that I did not owe any money and that I should be receiving my Refund within the next 3 weeks and that the call I received must be a scammer. I continuously get calls from this and similar numbers with the same information about IRS filing a law suit against me. Few times someone who pretended to be an agent called me too, said that cops are coming after me with a warrant and i need to get a lawyer within next 30 min. Called IRS and they said that my account is clean
