Received multiple calls from this number over last few days. Finally answered second call from number today today and no one said anything.

This number called me and told me he was a Microsoft professional and that they had detected a virus on my computer for the last 2weeks. He instructed me to hit certain keys on my pc to see the virus for myself. I did not comply. I hung up the phone. Microsoft does not call people telling them these things. I have a virus protection and it scanned and showed no viruses found. Be careful if this number calls you, they are trying to gain access to your computer.

Just received a call from the same number - saying they were a Microsoft technician and needed access to my computer at home because it was sending out blast emails and overloading the systems of other companies. When I asked which computer was it coming from as I had 5 of them at home he stated that it did not matter, I just needed to turn one on so he could check it - that when I really clued in that it was a scam
