Calling to tell me they've been monitoring my computer and that it's infected with a virus. I played along for a while, until I had to tell them there was no "Start" button and I was running FreeBSD. (I am running Windows, but figured BSD would really throw him.)

This guy called and said that he was calling me because everytime I used Internet explorer, my computer would generate many error messages, and I needed to make sure I get that taken care of. I hung up. I dont use IE, totally a scam call.
