They will give you a case number and say they are going to file a felony charge against you with LA County if you don't comply. LA Police Depart confirmed this is a scam and told me not to answer the calls. The officer said they never make calls regarding pending felony charges. Instead they mail a letter and/or show up at your address. This is a scam to get your money and/or personal information. Block all numbers that they call from.
