They called asking me to renew my car warranty, though I never gave them my information. I immediately and nicely asked them to remove me from the list- while I was speaking she hung up on me. That is illegal. I've been on the do not call registry for my cell phone so I'm not supposed to receive calls like this, and they are suppose to honor your request. I work for a place where they make the same kind of calls for my boss. I've always asked them to remove us from the list. Half of the time they hang up before you can finish your request. Because it is illegal, they can be sued for this. They never remove you from their list.
