Received call this morning from male with accent claiming to be calling about my computer security. I told him I was aware of this scam and that my number was listed on the Do Not Call registry and he was in violation. I told him I had made repeated requests to people calling from this number to stop calling and that I was going to report him once again. I hung up and the phone rang again, this time showing 807-555-0164. It was the same man saying he wasn't a scammer. I told him he was because a normal business wouldn't be calling again from a second fake number and told him once again not to call me. I hung up and the phone rang again, this time showing 601-555-0145. It was the same man,. I told him once again to stop calling me and disconnected my phone; otherwise, I think he would still be calling back. I get at least 5 calls a day from telemarketers and spammers, despite being listed on the Do Not Call registry and am starting to get these calls on my cell phone as well.
