said i took out a payday loan and trying to collect on a debt. not possible since the real payday loan companies take it out of your checking account.

The caller said his name was Patrick Martin. He called in regards to a payday loan he said I took out in 2010 or 2011 in the amount of $300.00. He was trying to get me to fax a letter stating that I would pay $988.00 because that is how much it would take to settle the debt. He has call 9 or 10 times in a matter of 3 days from several different numbers. 661-240-9164 and a 704-502-7343

Call back number is 409-356-6912 and he was supposedly an FBI senior officer badge #1202. He said that FBI stands for Federal Bureau of Investigations. I asked him why did he sound like a foreigner if he works for the FBI. He claimed that my bank account will be frozen in 48 hours due to his investigation. I told him that I think this is a scam and I plan to call the real FBI. I am sure it is a scam.
