I answered the phone and I heard some background noise as well as the faint voice of someone with an Indian accent. I said "hello" once and then listened. After about 10 or 15 seconds the caller hung up the phone.

CID read two different numbers. One was out of Washington DC: 1-202-204-0484, the other was 1-414-332-8767. Obviously phone hacking (phreaking). Heavy east-indian acccent. Told me there was a problem with my computer. I let him go on for a bit, to see what he was trying to get me to do. He tried to get me to open a remote connection. When I told him I was a Microsoft Engineer, he immediately hung up. Do NOT follow their instructions. This is a well known scam.

Knew immediately it was another Indian Microsoft scam. Told that to the caller and then We got into a pissing match about the vile sex And violence acts we would commit on each other and each other's family members and then the idiot hung up.

A scam call to fix bugs on my windows computer. Hung up when I asked for their phone number to call back at my convenience. Indian voice, chatter in the background.

left no msg and what was really weird is also within several mins supposably rhinelander soc sec called 1 hr 6 min AFTER they closed and left NO msg either+ somehow the volume on my phone was turned off and i had on on purpose and just recieved calls legit earlier

They are calling from "PAKISTAN" to get your account info...
If you give it to them... BYE BYE money...
There is not anything that can be done to recover money removed from your account ONCE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR ACCOUNT #...
This SCAM has been going on for a long time...
When they use up a "spoofed" number, they just change it to a new one...
Spoofed numbers do not actually exist, they just show up on the caller ID.
Your bank numbers do exist. Don't EVER give them out over the phone without KNOWING who you just gave access to YOUR bank account.
Poor phone quality with a THICK ascent claiming "Microsoft" equals BIG SCAM.
