SCAM - told me my address with one letter wrong on the postcode, then told me over the last three weeks my computer had been sending reports when I logged into the internet about spy stuff and whatever else to Microsoft and he was acting on behalf of them to do repairs.
Two things - firstly I have been out of the country on holiday for a month and my computer has not been switched on & secondly, I do not have the internet, they obviously do not do their research as I leave in one of the only four places that still not have broadband internet & dial up is slower than my phone. He hung up after I told him I did not have internet and that this was a scam.

trying to scare people to think they are microsoft, calling to help fix PC infections. total scam artists. what's funny is the phone company must be onto them, the caller ID says "Marketing Fraud" LMAO!!!!

Caller ID showed the Call name as ''Marketing Fraud'.....ha ha how about that they are actually advertising the truth.IT called 3 times today so i picked up and he said my computer had a virus.I said how would you know if I had a computer and did he know i am on the do not call list unless he was a political party or a non profit group then he could call me. He hung up

Caller was male, Indian accent. Said he was with Microsoft and that my computer had a virus. Gave me some things to do on my computer, which I didn't do, but I told him I'd hold him responsible if anything happened to my computer. He immediatelly hung up!

I've received this call before so I KNOW it is some sort of scam!
