I received a voicemail message today from a Roland Maxwell stating he needed to speak with me or my attorney today regarding my case #. I returned the call 1/2 hr later & a Randy answered & verified my phone# & said I was in the list of warrants for my county & that in order to stop any actions against me I needed to verify my information & not lie to him cuz then he would not be able to help me. He then put me on hold to supposively speak with the police dept to stop my warrant & that I must pay the amount that they agreed on TODAY. So I asked him what the amount was and he said he would tell me after speaking with the police dept.(1st flag to me)He came back on the line & said the amount was 1,000. So I asked who he had spoken to in the police dept but he couldn't answer my question(2nd flag) so then I told him that my lawyer would be contacting him. He got very angry and started threatening me about getting arrested at my place of employment and he hung up on me. I already filed a police report against both the person who left me a voicemail and the SCAMMER RANDY.

said to "govern" myself accordingly that it was pretrial services and they would file paperwork to serve me. These calls are coming from all kinds of numbers lately. None of them will send you any kind of paperwork. Scammers

Got a call from this number, the voice mail is left as follows: "This is Roland Knifewell(?) with Pretrial Intervention. You have a pending case in our office that needs your immediate attention. I need to speak with you or your attourney of record immediately today. My number is 440-290-5958. If I do not hear from you or your attourney, I will document that you've waived your right to council, and submit the case. Govern yourself accordingly."
The fact that they did not say my name, offer a case number, nothing, tipped me off that this was likely a scam. However, I've had Kia collections calling me because this number used to belong to someone else, so I thought I'd at least call back and make sure.
Tried calling back twice before I looked it up and found this page, received a generic voicemail message that no one could answer my call right now. That was my second tip-off, and I will not be calling them back, and seeking out any way to report them.
