If your family member is caught up with this scammer, do everything in your power to break the hold this guy (Mike) gets on these clueless people. Have them declared incompetant so they cannot send him anymore money. He has them send multiple checks to various people in the US promising millions in sweepstakes winnings. These checks are to pay for taxes owed on the winnings. Nothing is sent directly to "Mike". He is a smooth talker who could care less about the people he is stealing from. He encourages people to do reverse mortgages or just a new mortgage on a mortgage free property. He drains savings accounts, money markets, CD's, everything!!! He knows all the tricks and instructs these people on stories to tell their families and bankers. Beware!!!!
