These people are scam artists looking to gain access to your computer and any person information it contains. They do not care about the do not call list. They probably do not even know what that is. These people are calling from outside the US. Last time I was called they were from India. Just do not even answer. All you do is verify that it is a live number that they can add to their database and sell to another scam artist

Caller said that he was calling about my computer. I told him that I was turning him in to the no call list. He said that he can call because I gave him permission when I bought the computer. He kept arguing with me then he hung up.

They called and knew my name. Said they were calling about 'my computer'. They said they were with Tech Support America or something and I hung up. It was a live person, not recording.

Called and knew our last name. Said he was calling about my computer. I told him I knew he was a scammer and he argued with me, eventually told me to go to hell and hung up on me.
