Exact same thing happened to my friend two weeks earlier from same caller. It didn't work out well for my friend.

My friend received a call from this number saying they had kidnapped his son and demanded money for his safe return, or they would kill him. They knew his name and his sons name. They told him not to hang up the phone and go to the bank and get money. Luckly the call came in on his work phone and he had his personal phone in his truck also. He called his son from this phone, whom was perfectly fine and at work. Scared the crap out of him. These scammers need to be caught.
