After hanging up the phone with Apple computer, this call came pronto. I thought it might have been Apple returning the call?
I picked up and there was silence, then it said goodbye.
I looked at caller id & returned the call and it stated there was no such number!
Sounds as I read, that its a scam on computer users???
* Do the correct thing & report this to the FCC.Gov.

I received a call on my phone. Didn't answer since the Caller I.D. said "Name Unavailable". I Googled the number (505-549-0347) and I found lots of complaints about a foreign voice claiming to be from "Windows" and that they needed to access main computer in home. The area code is a New Mexico area code, but when I checked out my incoming calls log on my real time phone bill, it states the call is coming from Nicaragua!!! BEWARE!!! Do not answer that number!!!

The usual request to access my computer supposedly to remove a virus, but would have actually installed viruses or trojans to steal information.

I told him that he had rung the New Zealand Microsoft help desk and asked for his login ID and password. He hung up.

An Indian accent-said he was calling about my Microsoft compute. Same guy called me 2 years go with using the Microsoft name for access to my computer.
