So this was a call from 508-882-7130 at 6.05 pm Eastern Mon 17AUG2015 to my Verizon landline.
Telemarketer professing to give advice from the "American Institute on Aging" which is bogus, but sounds close enough to the NIH "National Institute on Aging" to catch your attention and appear "legit". It's not - it's just another bogus scam to flog unwary elderly folks personal medical alert devices and no doubt high priced monthly subscriptions based on the premise that the device and shipping is "full paid for by Medicare".
Preying on the elderly is unacceptable. These people need to be hit where it hurts - FCC please please please take action against telemarketers and scammers.
Lastly, the robocall never actually stated their company name. That my friend is illegal right off the bat.
