Same complaint as above, allegedly IRS has lawsuit & warrant for arrest. "Jan Smith" was a male with a heavy Indian accent, who claimed to be the supervisor when I asked for his supervisor. I stated I was disabled & lived on a poverty level income that was not even taxable. Well, golly, he hung up on ME!

Caller reported that they were the IRS and a suit has been filed against us along with an arrest warrant. I should return their call as soon as possible. My search engine noted a form 2848 which was a power of attorney form which would grant the caller power to represent someone to work with the IRS. Maybe just a coincidence, but the IRS doesn't make such calls, and would be using an 800 number if they were to call someone. BE CAREFUL The heading for this phone number doesn't identify the IRS as the caller.
