These people called as "Anonymous" and I just missed picking it up, so I called them back. It sounded like a phone bank. They claimed to be calling from TXU - why would TXU call anonymously? They wanted to verify my address and social security number which I refused, so she said she couldn't tell me what it was about and I know for certain that I do not owe TXU any money. So I told her to quit calling me and hung up. Remember everyone - if you owe a debt, the company has to send you a real letter with all the information about the debt and you have 30 days to respond.
