I asked if I had filled something out indicating I wanted to be contacted and immediately they stopped talking but stayed on the line in silence for about 30-45 seconds without responding to my asking if they were still there.
I finally started to tell them to take me off their list and, as soon as started that sentence, they hung up.
IMPORTANT PART: I tried to call back to get off their list and was redirected to Sprint 411. 411 could not figure out who the number was from (it redirected them back to themselves) but eventually determined that "it is a fraud number from another country so we are reversing the charges to [my] bill".
DO NOT ANSWER FROM THIS NUMBER. They are getting your phone charged the for the call simply because you answered (thus the "agent" keeping me on the line.
