This guy called and my husband answered the phone. He automatically started telling my husband that he got my husband recorded saying that he would pledge money to their cancer research. My husband NEVER gives pledges over the phone in case they are scammers. We don't care who they say thy are. If you want money from us, we expect info. In the mail, so we can check the organization out. My husband checked this organization out, and did not like their little website. Anyway, we always tell them to send info. In the mail, and we will consider it. Well, this guy said he got my husband saying that we would pledge. My husband said play me the tape then and the guy said I don't have the tape. The guy then yelled at my husband saying "It's your word. Your word is no good." My husband yelled back, don't yell at me and play back the tape. You are lying saying that we would pledge. You might have me saying we would consider it." The guy kept yelling at him. If they were truly legitimate, they would not do it. Stay away from these scammers.
