This is TOTAL FRAUD! I get messages from this number saying I have evaded my taxes and they are about to put a warrent out for my arrest. Half the time they are rude and uninformative. The other times I've called, they clearly want money right away. PLEASE report to IRS at this website http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml or 1-800-366-4484. I just called the number again and told the guy I was contacting the Treasury Department to report them for fraud. He said "F*** you". Ha!

I too received call that I committed tax fraud. Asked to call 571-418-8467 to resolve the situation or a warrant for my arrest would be issued. I would think I would have gotten a letter in the mail from the IRS if there is a problem with my taxes.

This guy claimed that he had tax fraud and federal tax evasion on our name. Didn't say our name but we could call him back and get legal representation.
