This was a confirmed scam. The recorded robo-call said that my Bank of America card had been "locked". I actually have a Bank of America card, so I called the legitimate number for BofA; they told me that my card is fine.

received a computerized call saying my merchant account was locked and to press 1. This was left on my answering machine. Michael Hickey is the name that showed up on the caller ID. I do not have a merchant account, sounds like some type of scam!

Robo-call saying that my debit card has been locked. Suggested that I press 1 to speak with the "security department". I hung up without pressing anything. Annoyed that the scammers have obtained my cell phone number. I'm getting more of these kinds of calls lately.
