This is the phone number of someone involved in puppy scams. Don't let them know that you learned this from the phone number, because as long as they use it, folks will be able to go to sites like this to learn they are not legitimate. The scam is that they place ads on free sites like Craigslist and Oodle that indicate they live locally and have a puppy from some popular breed at an unusually low price. They specify contact by text only. When you express interest, they respond that they are somewhere out of state on a family emergency and don't know when they will return. They have the puppies with them, and are willing to send them for the cost of delivery only, which is several hundred dollars, but still cheap for the breed and tempting for a trusting person. I started googling and learned that I would be asked to send money by some means that allows them to remain anonymous and untraceable. Once they have some money, they will probably try to get more. For example, they may say the puppy has an expensive vet bill. If you google this number, you will find it associated with ads for Maltese, Havanese, French Bulldog, and Saint Bernard puppies advertised all over the country.
