I got the same run around. Replied that if they wanted a car report they would have to run it themselves.

Texted my phone about a car on Craigslist wanted me to use a website they sent to verify the vin number. It asks for the vin number and credit card information. Told the texter to come see the car and we would verify it if they were making a purchase. Still got a run around, screams scam to me I blocked the number.
