I posted an ad on both Reddit and Craigslist about a missing wallet and this person sent me a text message and said that they found my wallet.
Following was the text message I got from them:
"Am sorry for the late reply, after i confirm the details that you are the owner of this walleti have an urgent text message about my mom sickness sorry. But i m currently in Africa nigeria to take good care of my mom and i will soon get back to state by June 19th. i am on my way going to sent it rhough dhl agent office now regard catherine."
I didn't even need to respond to the dumbass. The poor english comprehension, bad spelling and the word Nigeria clearly indicates that this asswipe is a scammer.
