Claims I am being sued by the IRS as well. Sick and tired of these calls. Why is it ok for them to work up the elderly?

They said they were the IRS suing us. I called back and reached a person with an Indian accent. There was much noise in the background. I hung up. I doubt very much that this was the IRS.

I didn't answer, but they left a voice mail giving a case file number about the IRS and filing a lawsuit against me for unpaid taxes. Since I don't have any unpaid taxes, I looked on line to see what anyone else is saying about this number. Scammer, for sure.

Stated they were collecting my tax debt. Asked where they were located, she stated Washington DC. I said that 617 area code was Boston. Caller hung up
Way to heavy an accent, was fixing to ask for someone without accent when i asked about the phone number.
