Initially got a recording about lowering the interest on my credit cards. I was instructed to press 9 if I was interested, and did so for the purpose of telling the caller to take my name off of their lists. A gentleman answered and asked me if I was interested in lowering the interest on my Visa or Mastercard. I asked what company they were representing. The gentleman then referred to me as a female (I am male) and when I corrected him, I was immediately hung up on. I tried to *69 to ask that they take my number off of their lists, but this was not possible. I dialed the number directly and received the message that the number was unavailable or had been disconnected.

I didn't answer phone as it looked like a suspicious number, however I immmediately attempted to dial the number back. In doing so I got a recording saying "We're sorry. The number you are calling cannot be completed as dialed. Please check your number and try again."

I received an auto dial call with a prerecorded message to contact the "credit card service center" to lower my credit card interest rates. Press 9 to be connected. I then hung up.
