I work at the company that Legally owns this phone number. These criminals are Spoofing this phone number- They have stolen it. We have not made any outbound calls... actually we do not even have the capability to make outbound calls from this number.
We have been forced to change our phone number due to the inbound call volume but the only people who can shut the Spoofers down are the FCC. They are just "using" the number... they are not actually using our phone line- they have hacked their own phone so that the caller ID will show our company's phone number vs. their phone number. Our number was randomly selected.
It is awful for everyone.. Blessings.
