When I saw that the caller ID said "Local" without being local, I didn't answer. I listened to the message as it was being given.
As stated in the previous comment, it was for some non-narcotic pain cream "provided to you by your insurance carrier at no expense to you." It continues, "Press 1 now to verify your address and delivery date. Again, press 1 to arrange delivery, press 2 to notify your health care provider that you have refused this shipment."
It is all very appealing if the criteria matches oneself, but even though I fit, I am too paranoid to fall for it. After reading the previous comment, I will block the number if they call again. I will be checking my renewal information for the Do Not Call list, myself.

650-277-2617 has called twice this week including today. Pain cream! An automated voice wants me to press #1 to verify delivery address of pain cream! I am on the Do Not Call list which does NOTHING!

Same call. When asked, they told me they were calling from Baltimore, MD, even though it is a CA area code. It clearly was from a boiler room; I could hear the other operators. They told me the product contained Benzocaine and Lidocain, among some other items. She told me they will call my doctor to have him issue a prescription. (right, that would happen). They asked if I were under 65, I said yes, then she asked my birthday. I said why? she said to verify my age that I am younger than 65 . I said 1) I know how old I am, I told you I am, and 2) why do you have to be younger than 65 to experience pain relief. I asked what company manufactures this medicine, and although she told me the ingredients, she told me that only a doctor could tell me the company because that was a medical question. Really?
Seriously, stay away from this... It is a scam to find the age of seniors and get into their health records.
