Received a text message from (669) 222-4798. Had a similar message a few months back from a Clara Roberts. Request was almost verbatim. Text read as follows. "Hello This is merisa cohen?, i will like to know your availability day in september, 2015 just 4 hours service,also i will need portrait work done after the photography work is done after the event...i will like you to get back to me with your availability day in september,2015 it a family reunion party...Do you accept credit card payment?"
I said we do accept credit card payments, but that I couldn't confirm our availability without the actual date in September. "merisa" said, "I am looking at 30th september, 11 am but i don't know maybe the date is open, if the date is open with you that would be okay, also what is your accurate cost for 4 hours service?,"
I said we were available, but that we had another commitment that day, so I needed the address to make sure we'd have enough time to get from the reunion to our next job. "merisa" said, "706 N Georgia Ave, Cocoa, FL." "merisa" also wanted to know, " okay...i want you get back to me with the accurate cost. Photo size 4x6 5x7 8x10 11x14 16x20 and 7 portrait of my family."
I said we're located in Hawaii. "merisa" said, "okay...i will pay your trip."
I said we couldn't take the job because we wouldn't be able to make our previous commitment if we were flying back from Florida. To which "merisa" asked, "what about october 3rd? because I have another event for you that is in hawaii."
"Clara Roberts'" request was basically the same, right down to the print order. Only her "family reunion" was in L.A., the date of the reunion changed based upon my availability, she couldn't tell me which "friend" had recommended us, she couldn't tell me what time the reunion was scheduled to start, and she suddenly had to have surgery, placing her in the "icu".
