Here's the scoop on this business..... The call saying they are Cowen Schwartz & Associates if you are lucky enough to talk to a person, (if not, u get a robot leaving a message saying there is an URGENT matter in need of your response from "Chris White" ) After speaking with someone today, I was told that they are investigators. I asked of what. He said, "We're more like asset recovery agents". I said that I don't know what that means and if I could have his business license number. He got VERY upset and told me that he would email me all the information about their company and all the documentation of my debt and if I didn't pay it immediately that I would go to jail. I never got that email. If you look them up, they are not on the BBB. However, a company called Hollander Chase and Associates is and from what I have heard and gather, they are the same company. HCA has a F rating and is being investigated themselves. If you call their number, you get the same recording as this number. Check it out.....
