DOC - Dept of Corrections collection call. Repeated calls. I finally unplugged the phone to stop the repeated call. Verizon said they could block the number if I called back during the week or change my number.

I am getting these calls several times a day and getting f**king tired of it. I am also getting calls that don't come up on caller ID but just say something about Global link crap and that a prisoner is attempting to contact me. It doesn't give my name or anything and than I hang up but than the calls continue. I don't know anyone in prison nor would I ever associate with anyone behind bars. Isn't there a way for you to monitor who prisoners call? There behind bars for a reason anyways why give them the privelage of getting to use a phone?? That is not punishment. I have reported this number and blocked it and still getting them.

We have been getting these calls for the past week and it is very annoying at they will call several times in a row. There is never anyone on the line except that the number does not accept collect call. Then there is a message about Global Advance Money Saving
Isn't there a way to block a particular phone number for even reaching your number. We are on a do not call list. In addition they have started calling my son's cell phone too.
