Saying he was a financial consultant with Citibank, he told my husband that he had won $750,000 in a Shell sweepstakes because of a dollar donation made to a charity. He asked for no money or numbers on the first call. However, he continued to call back and finally asked for $750 to make the transfer of the money to our bank. I called Citibank and was told there was no money in my husband's name. I went along with it because I wanted to see how far this man would go.
