Scam - Offered a lower interest rate on my credit card, but didn't identify themselves as any particular bank or credit card company

It was a recorded message. The voice stated she was Kim calling from my credit card company. She did not state the name of the company, but that I was eligible for a low interest rate. I was offered to press "9" to be forwarded to a representative that could help with the request.

Once I answered machine said the call is to lower interest rates on credit card. When a live person answered I asked what the nature of the call is for he replied to lower interest rate on Visa and Master cards. I replied I have neither of these cards and asked for the callers name. He put me on hold and never got back on the call. Anyone that receives a call like this please be cautions.
