Thus company has been calling for well over 1 year now. They call several times a day and even on Saturdays. When we pick up, we ge an automated machine telling us to hold for an important message. Have never heard a live person yet on the other end so have been just picking up the phone and hanging it back up. Our phone number is private and unlisted so we have no idea why they are calling or even who they are. I have a friend that lives in Alexandria, VA who recently discovered that her bank accounts had been hacked into and the bank was only able to trace the withdrawals from Vietnam. Beings West Asset Management listed as being in Williamsburg, VA, we are beginning to wonder if there is some type of connection with this company being associated with some type of scamming.

They call me several times a day and leave a reference number. There is no way for me to even tell if this call is some sort of scam. They don't even give a reason or for what debt this might possibly be. And i haven't got a clue.

They keep calling asking for a prior owner/resident of our address... 13 yrs after we purchased the property. They even call our purposely unlisted number.
Even after I tell them that person hasn't lived here for over 10 yrs and I don't know them or have never met them.... this is anoying that they can't get their records updated, or bother checking the public record for a change in title on the addresses in their data base...
They are wasting both my time and their own.

they leave a recording of a reference number, when I call them back, I get a recording. I don't even know what it is they think I owe!

These scumbags are trying to collect on an old debt that belonged to my ex-wife even though I have told them REPEATEDLY not to call. I am going to have my attorney sue them under various State and Federal Acts.

I believe they are related some how to the Law Offices of Paul J Coleman, MA. They are categorized as a scavenger collection agency. They try to collect on debts that are already paid. If they have not been removed off your credit report and they are from 1988 to 2003, they seem to think people don't remember their accounts. They have been known as documented several places on line to use unfair and abuse and threaten, inappropriate tatics. Many have complained about them to the Fair Credit Collection Act.

This # continues to call and they continue to break the law (although I'm sure they could care less!). They call before 9 a.m. and won't say anything when you answer for several minutes (known in the scam & collection biz as "dead air time"). Have done so 5 times in the last 8 days). Have no idea what debt, or from whom, they're after, but I want it stopped.
