This company, called my sister and law and parents, the were VERY rude. They said they have "legal issues" to discuss with me, and that it was urgent. I called, and was immediately put on hold to a automated system, saying I will be connected to Cooper and Associates. I found no info. online or at the Better Business Association either. They told my parents there was a legal issue, although I have no pending legal issues. They have no record of a legit business. I'm reporting the number to the better business bureau now, for harassment of myself and my family. I heavily suggest of any of you have this number call, to not talk to them, as they are very unprofessional; and seemingly are a scam; since they have no trackable address, business, name, etc. - Just the same number myself and the gent. above my post also reported.
Their karma will get to them, but don;t waste your time talking to them.

I received a call at my work number stating I never paid back a payday loan companyfor a loan I took out April 5, 2010 and I'm being sued and charge with a hot check. Man mentioned he called my back today(closed due to holiday(Nov. 11, 2010) and wanted to make arrangements to pay it back with a heafty increase. I asked for his number, he gave me 800-488-6207, I told him that I had to look into it, he got extremely rude asking what I had to look into. the back verified the loan was never repayed, I mentioned I was never contacted about missing a payment. I asked for legal documentation to be sent to my home address and he said I recieved many letters in mail from company which I did not. We began to argue and mentioned he was calling my HR department at work I gave him the number and said go ahead. He then called me an Asshole as he hung up the phone.

They called, me today, very threatening stating it was not a solicitation call but there was an important legal issue that must be resolved. Then when it said to call and refer to a file number, it never gave a file number. I have no legal issues going on so this has to be a scam. No legitimate law firm would use an automated call to resolve a legal issue. Interested they used the same number but not the same name as Mark Andrew.
