Calling from India to tell me the central computer has reported a virus from my computer (he had no way of knowing I do have done software for 20+ years).
So I let him walk me through some harmless diagnostics, with his false interpretation of the results to make me think I have 100's of viruses.
It was snowing so I stayed on for 30 minutes. When I got bored ,I told him I know he is a scam, etc.
he put on his "supervisor"; and played the same charade. Good for a laugh, but not much else.
At least they couldn't cheat someone else while i was on the phone with them.
