Calls from the number 801-512-0605 are high pressure sales call from a company called PCefix. They initially misrepresent themselves as calling to help you with a Windows operating system error. When you pressure them for more details as to where they are calling from and who they are, they will eventually give you this number to call back on.

This number is listed as a Salt Lake City phone number, but those calling are from overseas and you can hardly understand them. If you get a call from this number hang up or just play along and use up their time, but don't allow them access to your system and don't bother to try to buy any services from them.

If you continue to research the number, you will find that it is a T-Mobile cell number that actually routes back to India to the Tamilnadu provence down at the southern tip of India. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

Said he was with Microsoft and because I registered my computer, they were getting reports of errors on my computer.
this is a Cell phone.. and caller id says unknown caller. If it was from Microsoft, it would not be unknown... I told him he gave me no reason to trust him, that how I got his number..said there was no extension, could just ask for him by name, He would give me free updates and Renew expired antivirus and clean my computer.. hahahaha!
