these idiots call at least daily claiming to already having my credit card records and just need to verify the card or cards with the highest balance. They know that all master card, visa, discover cards all have unique first four numbers that identify your bank and the type of card you have. Once you give them just the first four digits of your card they tell you the type of card and the issuer making you think they do indeed have all your credit card and billing information in front of them and they are verifying that you are the true owner for security purposes. They also lead you on by telling you your interest rate is over 10% and you have a combined balance of $3,000.00 dollars knowing all cards have an interest rate over 10% and most people have a balance of at least $3,000.00 dollars. They are scammers and will rip you off as they talk to you. To try to fool you even more they will call you back and their caller id will come up on your phone with a local phone number that they have spoofed and if you try to call that number after you hang up on them the phone number will either be out of use or some innocent person will answer the phone haveing no idea what you are calling them about, or a four or five digit number will pop up on your caller id so you can not call them back. DON'T LET THEM SCAM YOU!!!!!
