An unwanted call from this Moorpark VOIP number arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, there was a partial, but unintelligible, recorded voice message that quickly disconnected. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) often use recordings to prey on the public.
The perpetrator has been flagged as one of many "just say YES" scammers, who attempt to entrap the victim into answering "YES" to a seemingly innocuous question. DON'T REPLY TO THESE CRIMINALS!
